提单只需要认证副本就可以，也就是扫描件：

提单的作用

(1)提单是证明承运人已接管货物和货物已装船的货物收据。

(2)提单是承运人保证凭以交付货物和可以转让的物权凭证。

(3)提单是海上货物运输合同成立的证明。

Role of Bill of Lading

(1) A bill of lading is a receipt certifying that the carrier has taken over the goods and that the goods have been shipped.

(2) Bill of lading is the title document which the carrier warrants to deliver the goods and is assignable.

A bill of lading is the proof of a contract of carriage of goods by sea.
